Volleyball Saskatoon and Mark Tenant are giving children between the ages of 9 and 12 an opportunity to anticipate in our first VolleyAll Festival. The VolleyAll festival is aimed at introducing children to a modified form of volleyball. These modifications include:
- reducing the number of players on the court at one time
- lowering the height of the net
- relaxing the technical standards of skill execution
- reducing the court size
- using a lighter volleyball
VolleyAll is volleyball played on grass and is being held on Saturday, May 29th at UMEA #6 field behind the Henk Ruts Soccer Centre from noon to 6:00pm. There is no fee for coming out and playing. We would encourage teams and individuals to register on-line at www.volleyballsaskatoon.ca. Individuals will be assigned to a team.
VolleyAll is being held in conjunction with the River Heights Community Association’ Family Day in the Park.
