SAVA Social Ticket Sales

SAVA Social Tickets will be available starting this Sunday. I will be playing on court 3 from 9-12. I will stay around to catch teams at Mount Royal from 12-1, and then head to Bedford Road for 1-2. I will be back at Berdford Road from 5-6 and then I will be at Mount Royal again from 6-7.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Drinks will be $3 and shooters will be buy 2 and get 1 free once again!

I will be looking for volunteers to work the door, the bar and clean up.

The SAVA Social this year will be held on Friday, January 28th, 2011, at the Sutherland Hall once again.

Last year’s event saw 160 of our league members come out! If you were there last year, I am sure you will return and if you were not there, don’t miss it again!

All matches originally scheduled to be played at Bedford Road for December 12th will once again be moved to City Park Collegiate, which is located at 820 9th Avenue North.

The schedule for November 28th is now available. Please note your new team number if applicable, as the switchover will occur after November 21st. Updated team numbers will be posted as soon as stats from November 21st have been calculated.

Incident in Mount Royal parking lot – November 7th

I just wanted to pass on some information regarding an incident that occurred sometime between 4pm and 9pm on Sunday November 7th in the Mount Royal parking lot. There was at least one vehicle that was entered (the doors had been left unlocked), and items were stolen from the vehicle. I would suspect that the thief may have tried other vehicles to check if they were unlocked as well.

I’d just like to remind everyone to keep your car doors locked and valuables hidden while at the gym so that we can prevent any incidents like this from reoccurring. I know we’re all adults and shouldn’t need to be told this, but I thought I’d still make everyone aware of this incident.
